Sector-focused pavilions showcase India’s innovative startups
India’s largest and groundbreaking startup event, Startup Mahakumbh, witnessed an overwhelming response, serving as a dynamic platform for all stakeholders in the Indian startup ecosystem. The convergence of stakeholders and experts is expected to contribute to the further development of emerging sectors such as DeepTech, AgriTech, BioTech, MedTech, AI, Gaming, and more.
This event, aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship throughout India, experienced an unprecedented level of participation from prominent investors, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs. With over 2000 startups, 1000+ investors, 100+ unicorns, 300+ incubators & accelerators, 3,000+ conference delegates, 10+ country delegations, 3000+ future entrepreneurs, and 50,000+ business visitors from across the country, the event has become a hub for vibrant discussions and networking opportunities among all stakeholders.
The event is jointly organized by ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation, TiE, and Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA). It receives support from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), and Invest India.
Leading the Startup Mahakumbh pavilion are Zerodha and the National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development (NABARD), with support from states including Bihar, Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Karnataka, and Kerala. Powered by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Zomato, and the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC), Startup Mahakumbh has Uttar Pradesh as its state partner for the event.
Several key individuals were present at the event, including Mr. Sivasubramanian Ramann from SIDBI, Mr. Prashanth Prakash from Accel, Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani, the Founder of Info Edge, Mr. Sanjay Nayar, the Founder of Sorin Investments, Mr. Deepak Sood, the Secretary General of ASSOCHAM, Ms. Archana Jahagirdar, the Managing Partner of Rukam Capital, Mr. Deepak Sood from ASSOCHAM, Ms. Debjani Ghosh from Nasscom, Shri. Anil Kumar Sagar from the Department of IT – Govt of UP, Ranjan Anandan from Peak XV, and Rikant Pittie, the Co-founder of Easemytrip. During the event, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, the Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Shri Amitabh Kant, the G20 Sherpa and Former CEO of NITI Aayog, Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, the Mission Director of Atal Innovation Mission, Mr. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, a Professor at IIT Madras, and Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, the CEO of GeM, engaged with the participants to discuss various government initiatives for start-ups.
