Internship Details and Responsibilities
The LLM Intern at Sony Research India will work with a team of research scientists and other team members to develop large language models (LLM), retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF). The internship involves daily basic development activities and requires a strong understanding of neural machine translation (NMT) tasks related to Indian languages.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with research scientists and other team members to develop LLM, RAG, and RLHF for NMT-related tasks.
- Participating in the development of innovative AI technologies for Indian languages.
- Contributing to the advancement of AI-based applications and pipelines.
Work Location and Duration
- The internship offers flexible working arrangements, with options for hybrid, Mumbai-based, or remote work.
- The program lasts for six months, starting in the third week of May 2024.
- Work hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, full-time.
Required Experience and Skills
To be eligible for the LLM Internship at Sony Research India, candidates must have a Ph.D. or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a Bachelor’s degree with hands-on experience in Python and Natural Language Processing applications.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in PyTorch.
- Experience with deep learning and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and scikit-learn.
- Strong knowledge of LLM, RAG, and RLHF-based pipelines.
- Familiarity with generative AI models.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Additional expertise in PyTorch.
- Prior experience with Indian language NMT.
