BLOCK AND DISTRICT INTERNS – Rural Development Department

About the program :

Block, District Interns shall be engaged with the officers responsible for implementation of Rural Development schemes at District, Block, UT level like MGNREGA, PMAY, SWACHH Bharat Mission Grameen, RGSA, PMAY, GPDP, JKRLM, work on all the IT initiatives of the RD and PR viz GSAM, Meri Panchayat, GATI Shakti, e gram swaraj etc, conduct surveys on various programmes of the department, social audit etc.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates can apply who:

Are from Bachelor of Social Work,
And specialisation from Not Applicable,
Are available for duration of 2 Months
Have relevant skills and interests

Terms of Engagement

1 This is an open internship programme
2 The candidates should have relevant qualification from recognised university
3 Internship program shall be for a maximum term of onemonth
4 On successful completion of the internship program, candidate will be provided an internship certificate from Rural Development department Government of Jammu and Kashmir
5 During the course of internship if the candidate requires leave for any personal emergencies prior approval from the reporting officer is required
6 During internship program Rural Development Department may terminate this Agreement by giving One weeks notice in writing
7 The internship is purely for academic purposes and will confer no right upon the candidate for stake in any kind of Job or service in the department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj or any government department or any organisation or any institution
