Indian Navy & IIT Kharagpur joins forces to drive innovation through research partnership
The Indian Navy and the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur have come together to strengthen their partnership in technology development and research.
Today(March 19,2024), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at Naval Headquarters in New Delhi, highlighting their commitment to innovation and joint R&D. Rear Admiral K Srinivas and Prof. (Ms) Rintu Banerjee signed the MoU in the presence of Prof. Virendra Kumar Tiwari. This collaboration will be overseen by INS Shivaji in Lonavala.
This partnership signifies the merging of academia and the military, creating an environment that encourages innovation and the exchange of knowledge.
