Google introduced the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in October of last year. Recent rumors circulating on the internet suggest that the Pixel 8a may be released in May. Initially expected to be a mid-range device, a new report indicates that the Pixel 8a could actually be more expensive than its predecessor, the Pixel 7a, at least in the European Union.
It is anticipated that the Pixel 8a will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options, and it may come in four different colors. Speculations suggest that the Pixel 8a will be powered by the Google Tensor G3 SoC. According to a report from Winfuture.de, the Pixel 8a is expected to have a starting price of EUR 570 (approximately Rs. 51,000) for the base model with 128GB storage. The version with 256GB storage is rumored to retail for EUR 630 (approximately Rs. 56,000).
If this leak proves to be accurate, it would represent a significant increase from the launch price of the Pixel 7a, which was EUR 499 (approximately Rs. 45,000). The Pixel 8a is said to be available in bay (light blue), mint (light green), obsidian (black), and porcelain (beige) color options. However, it is possible that not all color options will be available for both storage variants.
